Robert Weist

Robert Weist was admitted to the Berlin Bar in 2009. He is a partner in the firm.

The focus of his work is the database-supported enforcement of air passenger rights, in particular compensation claims under Regulation (EC) No 261/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 February 2004.

The field of law is very much shaped by case law, not only by decisions of the European Court of Justice, but above all by the countless, sometimes contradictory decisions of the courts of first instance.

In particular, Robert Weist advises companies on the issues arising from the diverging case law and develops a strategic approach together with the client.

Robert Weist has already represented the interests of air travellers in thousands of proceedings before all German courts relevant to air travellers. He regularly handles proceedings before the ECJ.
