Maria Brenske

Lawyer

Maria Brenske was admitted to the bar in Berlin in 2025 and has since been working for JBB.

Her work focuses on the database-supported enforcement of air passenger rights, particularly compensation claims under Regulation (EC) No. 261/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 February 2004.

Maria Brenske began studying law at the University of Bayreuth. During study abroad programs she also studied at the Université Catholique de Louvain in Belgium and the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. She completed her degree at the University of Münster.

Following her studies, she first worked at a LegalTech law firm in Berlin and then at a boutique law firm specializing in advising startups and growth companies, with a focus on corporate law.

During her legal clerkship in Brandenburg, Maria Brenske completed placements in Cape Town, South Africa, and at the headquarters of the German Federal Foreign Office in Berlin, among other places.
